Reindeer House pt.9

“It’s snowiiiing!!” Kometto cooed, pressing his face dreamily to the window.

“Kometto, it’s always snowing,” Puransa sighed.

“W–well, yes, technically, but don’t you think the Christmas season is sooo romantic? Perfect for an intimate moonlit walk where you might just run into the deer of your dreams!”

“She’s a goat,” Puransa muttered, deadpan.

Kometto froze. Slowly — very slowly — he turned around, eyes narrowed. “Hmm. Where did I put that UNSUBSCRIBE DOCUMENT?”

“—!! I meant to say,” Puransa blurted, sitting bolt upright, “yes indeed, yes, you might run into the deer of your dreams!!!”

“Mmhm. That’s what I thought.” Kometto nodded in smug triumph. “Ahh… snow really does represent the Yule Goat’s beauty so well. Pure… serene… her fur softer than—”

Puransa groaned and yanked his hoodie over his head, retreating further from existence.

“BROTHERRRRR!!” Dansaa burst into the room like a glitter bomb, twirling his hair. “Look outside!! It’s SNOW!! Has that always been there?!! Kyuu-chan said it’s a rare femonamon — phemonofone — phmemonmefonem — A RARE THING!!”

Puransa sank even deeper into his hoodie. “Leeme alone, I’m on a deadline…”

Kyuupiddo skipped in behind Dansaa, absolutely smug.

“It’s phenomenon, Dansaa. Anyway!! Who wants to go outside and, uh, take hot selfies or write dramatic love poetry in the snow… while Puransa stays here and definitely doesn't check on you?”

Dansaa and Kometto traded looks.

“ME!!”
